Speaker Application for PDD 2021

PDD 2021

We are excited to announce the call for speakers for the 11th Annual IIBA Minneapolis | St. Paul Chapter Professional Development Day (PDD), April 20, 2021 at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.

While our Chapter is dedicated to the building and strengthening the practice of business analysis, our conference attracts professionals from many different backgrounds.  Therefore, all proposals are welcome!

As a non-profit, volunteer run organization, our mission is service to our members and professional community in the State of Minnesota - offering quality, first-class speakers at an affordable conference rate.

As the 2018 and 2019 IIBA Chapter of the Year, we offer each speaker significant exposure with the chance to build professional connections and relationships with participants representing over 200 different Minnesota companies.  Each year we host approximately 500 persons at our conference.  Our PDD is one of the largest IIBA Chapter conferences in North America.

Each speaker receives one complimentary all day conference pass.  In addition, reasonable travel and accommodations may also be provided.

Submission Instructions

•   Please fill in all required information and submit no later than December 31, 2020.  Offers to speak at our conference will be extended by January 15, 2021.

•   The purpose of the abstract is not only to guide our selection process but also will be used to help the reader decide whether to attend your presentation and may be used in marketing materials for the conference.  Each speaker presentation is for a one hour time slot.

•   To submit more than one presentation for consideration, you will need to submit multiple applications.  Please note, more than one submission does not increase or decrease your chances of speaking at our conference.

•   We encourage you to submit your presentation PDF if you would like it to be considered during the selection process, but it is not required.

•   Selected speakers must submit their presentation PDF no later than March 15, 2020.

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about the application or process.
