How to Apply Architecture Thinking in Agile Projects

Join us for a professional development evening when Andy and Steven will speak to you on how to apply architecture thinking in Agile projects.  Agile implementation has become the de facto technique to manage business products/services and run projects.  In the Agile world, architecture is often seen as the monolithic giant that prevents teams from being agile and delays time to market.

 Learning objectives:

  • What techniques business analysts can leverage from architectural thinking
  • Techniques to help you quickly communicate to agile team’s product/project requirements and other deliverables
  • Techniques to address and achieve the agile teams need for flexibility and speed.

Andy-Steven  About the speakers … Andy Sio & Steven Householder are Business Solution Architects at Medtronic.

A lean and agile transformation coach, Andy helps companies to produce more values faster and cheaper to customers by coaching companies' product team’s strategy to execution, design thinking, agile and lean startup methodologies.  He has helped companies like Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, Blue Cross Blue Shield, North Eastern University, CenturyLink, and BestBuy.

Steven is a certified ScrumMaster with over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of industries developing and deploying information systems that turn data and information into knowledge and wisdom to help companies prosper.  His work in IT includes roles ranging from user, designer/developer, business analyst, business process modeler, solution analyst and enterprise architect.
