Alba has been a member of the IIBA International and Minneapolis/St Paul chapter since January 2008. A passion for promoting the Business Analysis profession, as well as pursuing best practices and professional development led her to this organization. She quickly became involved as a volunteer, and soon stepped into the role of assistant VP of Communications. In November 2008 she was elected to her current position.

Alba holds a Masters Certificate of Business Analysis from Villanova University, and is currently pursuing CBAP certification. She has been instrumental in a variety of BA mentorship, Methodology and Process Improvement initiatives, and currently enjoys a position as Senior Consultant with Charter Solutions, Inc.
