Chapter President

I have been a member of the IIBA and involved with the Minneapolis/St Paul chapter since 2008. I am very passionate about the maturation and development of the Business Analysis profession; so I had offered my help to the board wherever I could. I worked with the local IIBA chapter board of directors on how to grow the chapter and brand the role of the Business Analyst- little did I know I would be asked to take on the role of President. In mid-2009 I assumed the role of President Elect.
My professional background is in business development and marketing- I have experience in technical fields and training/development. My past duties have included everything from developing marketing strategies and branding to negotiating with vendors to lower operating costs. I have worked for Fissure to help develop a go-to market strategy for simulation-based Business Analysis training. My role also included being a liaison to the Business Analysis community.
I am currently working as a Senior Account Executive with Project Consulting Group (PCG). I am developing organizational partnerships around Project Consulting Group’s focused competencies in Project Management, Program Management and Business Analysis.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf (playing hide and go seek with my golf ball) watching basketball, indie films and going to see live music.
